Please help me :/ I can't connect to anything!

Alright, the restrictions in my moms iPod were on and she couldn't remember what the password was, so she wanted me to figure it out. I found out very quickly that wouldn't be easy. So, I did everything it said to do, which was restore everything (May I remind you this was all at around 2-3 in the morning) I waited for it all to load and this grey screen came up and all it said was "Ipod" so I pulled the tab over and it brought me to "Language" then "Region" then it came to "wi-fi" I typed in our wi-fi password, but it wouldn't let me sign in, so below it, I clicked "connect to Itunes" after I re-plugged the charger into the computer, it said "error, ipod not recognized" and I really don't know what to do now. It's not connecting to Itunes, not connecting to wi-fi, what do I do? Please help me

Ipod won't do anything

One night, I was up on my ipod. Then I noticed it getting heated up. I just left it in the charger, and in the morning, I work up I checked my Ipod for the time, and nothing popped up, I pressed it again, nothing. I pressed the top button, and still nothing. I have no idea what has happened, I try to reset it, and I connected my ipod to itunes, and still nothing. No it's not jailbroken, still good with the warranty, any help? Please it's been like this for 2 days so far.

screen says ipod disabled unable to do anything?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

For how to restore:

iTunes: Restoring iOS software

To restore from backup see:

iOS: How to back up

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

You can redownload iTunes purchases by:

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

Ipod touch 5g screen will not display anything?

There is power to the Ipod. It is new(only 3 months old).

I have tried restoring/recovering the Ipod(success), but the problem still exists that the screen will not display anything. It just remains black.

The screen went black when I was in a skype group call, and now it will not respond to anything. Is there anyway I can fix this/send it in for repairs to Apple.

I am mostly certain this is a hardware problem.

iPod won't connect to anything.

I have an iPod touch 4th generation, it was working fine until one day, it decided it wasn't going to connect to anything, not my ipod dock, not my computer, not my dad's computer, not with any of our 6 usb chords.

I have it plugged into my computer, iTunes won't regognized it's plugged in, and it won't even say that it's charging, but the strange this is that it is. But it gets to the point (I usually use the dock for this) where I can plug it in, ipod dock will say it's connected (ipod still doesn't show its charging) and I can take off the ipod from the dock, it'll say 20% left, I can restart it and it'll be fully charged.

So, I reset it. That will fix it right? Nope, now I have an iPod with no music, no apps and no pictures on it, I can get apps in the store, I wrote all of them down. But otherwise, I can't get music on it because it won't connect to a computer, what on earth do I do to fix this, I've been struggling with it since December.

Thank you.

Ipod touch 4th gen won't show anything on the screen after "reset all settings" option??

okay, here's the situation.
1. I DID NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE Jailbreak this iPod. in fact,  the iPod was FULLY reformatted, and had a whole new library put on it prior to the malfunction.
2. the iPod WAS FULLY WORKING BEFORE i selected the "Reset all settings" Option from the Privacy menu
3. I have tried ALL of the reset steps, including, but not limited to; DFU mode, Force reset, Hard reset, Hard reset, Force-into-itunes, and the like.

So, knowing that I HAVE NOT jailbroken this iPod, and I have tried EVERYTHING tio fix it, what might the problem be? please, someone help ASAP.

Brandon.

i anything 4th or 5th gen recent update.

I recently installed the latest update for 4th and 5th Gen mobile device through my PC. after crashing my ipod touch and causing me a weeks worth of anguish i finally got it restored and able to syc again without any of the help provided to me by apple.

This company boasts the best and latest hardware and softwre AND support! I called them with simple questions about my problem and got no resolusions. I had to figure it all out on my own. The computer I used to download the update did not recognize the ipod as a device at all, let alone itunes recognize it. After connecting it to another computer, I was able to restore it to (fresh from the box) condition.conecting it to its home PC it was now recognized as a device but not in itunes.Going to >Devices and printers in Start menu i was able to right click the device choose> Properties>Drivers and drivers> Update Drivers(not automatically installed by the update)and allow itunes to recognize the device

Now. how the **** are we as consumers supposed to know all this info about these products when the corporation itself cant even fix them! anyone else feel like I do? No pun on the frampton. Ha Ha
