my ipod doesnt have software update, i brought it earlier the ipod third gen, any help please cant download a thing :/

If you  really have a 3G iPod:

COnnect the iPod to your computer and update via iTunes.

iOS 4: Updating your device to iOS 5 or later

You need iTunes 10.5 or later

The Settings>General>Software Update comes with iOS 5
