What do i do when my ipod is disabled and says connect to itunes and itunes tells me that it cant connect?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

For how to restore:

iTunes: Restoring iOS software

To restore from backup see:

iOS: How to back up

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

You can redownload iTunes purchases by:

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

Please help me :/ I can't connect to anything!

Alright, the restrictions in my moms iPod were on and she couldn't remember what the password was, so she wanted me to figure it out. I found out very quickly that wouldn't be easy. So, I did everything it said to do, which was restore everything (May I remind you this was all at around 2-3 in the morning) I waited for it all to load and this grey screen came up and all it said was "Ipod" so I pulled the tab over and it brought me to "Language" then "Region" then it came to "wi-fi" I typed in our wi-fi password, but it wouldn't let me sign in, so below it, I clicked "connect to Itunes" after I re-plugged the charger into the computer, it said "error, ipod not recognized" and I really don't know what to do now. It's not connecting to Itunes, not connecting to wi-fi, what do I do? Please help me

I'd like to connect my ipod touch (3rd generation) to my ipad2, but I don't see each other through bluetooth. What should I do?

Hi,

I am trying to connect an iPod touch 3rd (ios 5.1.1) generation to control my KEYNOTE's presentations in my iPad2 (ios 6.1.3). I activated bluetooth in both but they do not see each other. Is there any specific procedure to allow the connection or it is a problem of compatibility between versions of ios?

I appreciate any input.

iPod Touch won't connect to wifi?

My iPod Touch 4th Generation was connecting to wifi just like normal earlier today, but then it lost connection as it sometimes does. I went to settings and selected my house's network. After a while it still didn't work, I tried the wifi network that is used in the garage, (it doesn't have a password) but it didn't connect either. It's not saying that it can't connect or anything, it's just taking such a long time. I've powered off then powered on my iPod more than 3 times. Still nothing. Maybe if I just give it time...?? Please help!

reset my ipod touch and now won't connect to itunes

I reset my ipod touch because I wanted to give it to a family member.

After I reset it, I got the icon to connect the device to itunes.

I connect it to itunes and it is not recognizing the device, it states "iTunes could not connect to this iPod touch. You do not have permission."

I have tried restarting the device, holding the home button etc.

Nothing is working.

Please help!

Thank you!

My ipod touch 4th generation says to connect to itunes. I did, and it says I have to restore my ipod for it to work. I have about 6,000 photos on there that I do not want to lose. What do I do?

My iPod touch 4th generation says on the screen to connect to iTunes. When i connected it to iTunes, it says i must restore my ipod for it to work. However, I have over 6,000 pictures that I've taken over the past two years that i do not want to lose. What do I do? I already tried resetting it by holding down the home/power button, that doesn't help.

Ipod touch 5g will not connect to home wifi

Hello there! I have this problem where my ipod touch wil not let me connect to my home wifi. When I try to join, a message will pop up saying "incorrect password". I know for sure that the password is 100% right. My ipod touch had no problems connecting to the internet a few months ago, but lately many of the apps that required internet would not load even with 3 bars of signal. Therefore, this is when I decided to rest the network settings. Biggest mistake. Now it won't even let me connect to the internet. I have tried everything. Holding the home button and power button together until apple logo pops up. Updating the software to ios 6.1.3, physically turning my ipod on and off, even the modem and reseting the network settings on ipod.

Will restoring my ipod back to factory settings work?

Thank you! It will be appreciated.

How do I connect the 4th generation iPad to an in house stereo system?

I would like to play Pandora songs and my iTunes from my iPAD over my home stereo system, which includes a Yamaha receiver.  The receiver has spare inputs that I can use (seems to require at least two male inputs), but it's not clear to me what type of cable I would need to go to the stereo and back through the lightning connector.

Once the connection is established, can I assume that activating the "aux" portion of the stereo would automatically allow the input from the iPAD?

Many thanks.

Ipod touch 2nd gen won't connect to wifi/internet

I have an Ipod gen 2 and I recently stopped using it for about a month. I turned it back on to find NO way to get it to connect to the wifi. I have restarted my device several times as well as my router/modem, and I have restored network settings. It says that it is connected to wifi like normal, but when i go into my apps it says there is no internet connection. I have surfed around trying to find a solution but nothing is working. Please help (and please do not tell me to go to an Apple store to get it fixed).
