Help! Can't get a song deleted off my son's iTouch

My 4 year old found the music app on his iPod Touch and it had an Ozzy song on it.  I've never added music so I am not sure how it got there.  It isn't a song I want him listening to.  I went into his iPod thinking I could just delete but that isn't an option when you right click on the song.  I've went into my library and deleted the song.  After doing so it tells me I would remain in my cloud but would be gone from any devices synced with the computer.  I've synced, closed out of everything, restarted everything and it is STILL there!

Any ideas on how to get rid of it??

My iPod wont put songs back on that I deleted.

I have deleted songs because I put album art on them and it wasn't showing up on my ipod or I wanted to add lyrics to them but when I go to put them back on my ipod and my itunes will act like it is putting them on there but they wont go on my ipod. I had the songs on there before so I don't understand why I can't put them back on. I've had this problem before and I used to be able to unhook my ipod and hook it back up and that would work. Then I had to shut down my computer and reboot it and that worked. I've even had to wait a day and it would work. Nothing is working now!! I just want to put my music back on my ipod!

Itunes (on Windows 7) just deleted my entire library of music, apps and playlists

Thanks for the tip about the TMP files. I just wanna chime in here and say I'm having the same issue on XP and it is PERSISTENT. Also, I'm pretty sure I updated a week or two ago and other than some slightly sluggish response when hitting the play button, everything has worked fine until yesterday. I ran itunes with no problems, closed it and a few hours later started it up again and there were no playlists.

I restored it with a three month old copy from my "previous libraries" folder and then started to rebuild what I'd lost. Last night it was fine. This morning it was also fine and I finished rebuilding the playlists that had been made since the last previous library backup. While iTunes was still running, I went into my My Music/iTunes folder to copy the itunes library.itl, only to discover that it wasn't there! I know it was there last night, because I made a copy of it.

And, as you might suspect, when I closed iTunes then reopened it, all my playlists were gone again. Also interesting is that my iTunes folder is filling up with TMP files like I've never seen before. Right now there are 91 of them!

I managed to restore all my work up to this point by renaming the SECOND TO LAST tmp file (the last one was 25 megs and was not recognized as a valid itl file by iTunes) and sure enough, as soon as I close iTunes, the file vanishes and when I reopen iTunes, all my playlists are gone again.

So this isn't simply an issue with things getting lost during an upgrade, whatever the bug is, it's persistent and I'm losing all my playlists and library info every other time I run iTunes!

Is it possible to roll back to a previous version?

Deleted songs still on iPod but not on iTunes?

I deleted a number of songs on iTunes and synced my iPod. The songs are gone on iTunes, but they are still on my iPod, but they are grey so I couldn't listen even if I wanted to. This is really annoying and has been going on for a long time- I've tried re-syncing and manually choosing songs to put on my iPod, but no matter what, they are still there. Please help!

My songs on my ipod were not all playing. i deleted a bunch and tried to resync and not al lof them were put back on and wont go back on.

I recently resynced my itouch last night. then today, some of my songs wouldnt play and it would skip to the next song but show the same same and artist name. i started erasign all my songs from my ipod (282) and stopped after about 45 andi realized that it was only my most recently purchased songs off of my last few gift cards that werent working. so i deleted those only. then i resynced my ipod and all but 35 of my songs came back. most of the ones that didnt were the ones i deleted in the beginning. ive tried checking all the boxes, manually uploading, all that junk and they wont sync onto my ipod. when i go to the "on this ipod" section when my ipod is plugged in, the sogns that arent on my ipod but work fine on my itunes have a little "!" inside a circle next to them... any ideas?

the sogns that wont sync on my ipod have worked for years before on all my ipods.

HELP!!!!!!! I accidentally deleted absolutely EVERYTHING on my iPod..

I wanted to reset my iPod to start from fresh, so I went into the settings, under general, and reset.. and I'm guessing I clicked the wrong thing.. because now my iPod is stuck on the Apple logo, and my computer doesn't recognize it when I plug it in. I'm assuming I deleted the iOS files and such. Can someone help me please? I don't know what to do.
