I think this very well what free applications, but in my case does not help mbe because I have an iPod the second generation and is not be installed because the software has not been updated since they have created the first software and second generation

If a 3rd gen 8gb ipod touch was supposidly never created , then why are several stores advertising and selling them ?

When i bought my ipod in that is what was on my recipt and warranty . I bought it directly from the apple store and was told that it was a 3rd gen 8 gb ipod and and thtat they did that becuase of the new software. OS3.1 is what they told me . i hope i didnt get gipped .
