My Ipod's home and sleep button are unresponsive. Help!

After downloading some music on my computer, I tried to sync my ipod (3rd generation). As it often does, it said my ipod didn't have enough space so I deleted skype through settings

iPod 4G black screen, unresponsive, stuck during restore

Hi there, I would like to know if anyone has had this problem and if it has been resolved. I've encountered myself to be stuck in this loop of "waiting for ipod" when trying to restore the ipod to ios 6.1.3. It was previously on ios 6.1.2. This is my GF's ipod and she had told me she was using it just fine, but once putting it into her bag, and checking it again the screen had gone entirely black. She'd charge it assuming it was dead but it had gone into a recovery/DFU mode loop. Everytime I plug it into my computer I receive a message that it is in recovery mode and must be restored. I remind you again that no combination of buttons will cure the screen at this point. Holding home + power button for a few seconds for a soft reset just shows the same message when plugged in. Anyway, as I try to update, the screen turns on showing the apple logo and loading bar, but then once the step gets to "waiting for ipod" nothing works. I've tried letting it sit there for over 2 hours, but nothing. I have yet to find a solution, and it's become quite frustrating. Please let me know if you have any idea how to fix this. I've tried messing around using different methods such as iRec, TinyUmbrella, Redsn0w recovery, messing with hosts files, firewall, etc.

NEW iPod Touch 5 unresponsive after update in iTunes

Just fresh out of the box. Not even two hours old from purchase. Hooked up the USB/Lighting cord. Opened iTunes and was prompted to update the software on the NEW iPod Touch from 6.0 to 6.1. Did the update and received a box prompt unable to update. Now I have a BLACK screen on my NEW iPod Touch with a music symble, iTunes and a picture of the USB cord. My computer nor does iTunes even recognize I have an iPod plugged in. Have rebooted my laptop, plugged the iPod back in and still the same screen. When unplugged from the cable, still NOTHING! A bit upset right now. What is going on?

My 5th generation ipod touch has become unresponsive, rebooting does not work.

I was unlocking my 5th generation ipod touch when the screen frooze. A green line appears through the normal lock screen, however the touch screen won't work. I tried rebooting the ipod but the green line still appears and the touch screen is still unresponsive. Is there anything else I can do?

iPod Touch 5th gen -Unresponsive screen when charging

Just noticed the screen is unresponsive when I'm charging,

it acts awkwardly while Im trying to open apps,

i cant use it normally when its lying on the table, something like that.

It somehow resolves my problem when i took it out from its casing but i should have to hold it properly like my left hand at its back and fingers on its front . I can't use it properly without doing that.

I've reset all the contents & settings. Just got it last January 10 2013

BTW, my iOs is up to date (even when i still haven't updating it),

tried the pressing the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time before resetting it.

....and still the same.

PLEASE, ANY GOOD ADVICE, what's the problem?

iPod Touch (3rd Gen)--Screen Unresponsive?

My iPod Touch (3rd Gen) has a technically invisible line (vertically) down the middle of the screen that where the track pad is unresponsive to touch.  An iOS reset does nothing to solve the issue.  Have you had a problem with this/know how to resolve it?

I've had iPod touch about six months, and I've tried restoring it but its still very unresponsive and slow loading videos

My iPod touch is about six months old and I use it pretty regularly. It's always had problems with the home button being unresponsive, but lately it's been loading video and Internet very slowly and sometimes the touch screen is also unresponsive. I've tried restoring it on iTunes but my iPod is still acting the same. What can I do to make it run better and how can I fix the home button (I've also tried force closing an app that came with the iPod because I hear that can help with the home button but that also did not work!)

Thanks!

ipod is unresponsive.

Connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTUnes as the screen is telling you to do.
