The screen on my ipod touch had suddenly gone white and i let it die and now it does not want to turn back on.. When i connect it to the computer it make the sounds when it charges and when you slide it to unlock it.. i dont know why the screen wont turn on

recently purchased the new 5th gen ipod touch . Its for some reason now in what i now know is recovery mode..It's frustrating the **** out of me because i can't seem to find any way of of fixing it...!
It's running IOS 6 and I'm hoping that it's going to be an easy fix....
Can someone please help me to rid this annoying problem with my ipod...?
Any help ,or suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

I accidentally unplugged my 5th generation whilst it was downloading a software update and now its stuck - when I plug it into the laptop, itunes recognises it but then says it needs to be restored - I click OK and it says its got to update and restore - it then downloads software (circa 45 mins) but then doesn't update or restore - tried 4 times now - anyone any ideas please?
I have an i-pod 4th generation. I downloaded some songs off of internet explorer and I put them onto my itunes. They play and everything but when i try to sync it it says that it synced to the ipod but the songs don't show up on my ipod . help please . I have the newest itunes and ipod update.
iPod is connected to wifi. It won't connected to iTunes or any app saying it needs Internet connection....
Have tried turning it all off etc which usually works but still not working.

Seit einem Absturz beim Update auf IOS6 lässt sich mein Ipod 4g nicht mehr zurücksetzen. Nach Reset erscheint erst das Apfellogo und kurz danach ein Bluescreen. Wenn ich ihn mit ITunes verbinde, wird er nicht erkannt. Wie kann ich ihn wieder zurücksetzen???
