Moving iPod for PC to Mac?

When I got my iPod touch 4th gen, I had it connected to a PC computer.  Well, that computer crashed and I got a MacBook.  Can I connect my iPod to said computer without loosing anything or corrupting my iPod's system?

moving podcasts to another location on ipod touch 5G
