is not registered with iMessage.

Since she does not have iOS 6, you can only Message here by using the email address(s) specified on here iPod in Setting>Messages>Send and receive

When you sign in to your Apple ID with iMessage using an iPhone with iOS 6, your Apple ID is linked to your phone number. This allows you to receive iMessages sent to your phone number on other iOS 6 devices signed in to the same Apple ID. If your phone number is not listed on an iPod touch or iPad, follow this article.

is there a way to know with what apple id a product was registered?

My ipod 5G was stolen but when I tried to put the serial number to my apple id it said that it already was registered in another apple id ans I want to know if the person who stole it was the one that registered it and if I can have his address and have it back.
