I have the iPod 5th gen and I plugged a USB to 3.5mm jack into a USB to wall plug adapter and the iPod just shut off. What do I do?

I have this question too (0) BrendanMillerLevel 1 Level 1 (0 points) BrendanMiller Currently Being Moderated Re: Charging Problems Jun 15, 2013 11:35 PM (in response to BrendanMiller)

I basically tried charging it like the new shuffle, and it won't turn on. It will, however, heat up when I charge it normally.

Battery status versus battery meter and problems

When not plugged in, it shows about 5 points lower than it does connected to wall plug,  when it shows critically low (20 %)

And you plug it in, it immediately shows 43 to 45% power.   When it is fully charged, it seems to hold power well.  The problem occurs at lower power levels (below 40%)

Multiple problems, please help, I am freaking out.

Hey, so I've been waiting to get  new ipod since the day the 5th gen was released. So yesterday, I go and I buy a brand new, in box, slate 5th gen off of craigslist. Problem is, I have no reciept, but it is still under warranty.

Now, for the devastating event that took place today:

So, while using the loop and taking a picture, the ipod slipped out of my hand. Luckily, the loop saved its life! Until it fell.  The ipod on the ground, face down, with the loop sliding down my arm. The loop had slipped off of the button.

Now, there is a tiny little crack in the top right corner of my screen, and I am horrified to ever use the loop again. The crack does not get in my way too much, but it is just extremely upsetting since I bought it brand new, last night.

Would this be considered a defect, since the loop that came with the ipod, from apple, failed to work to its design? Or is it possible that there is a defect in the loop button? I have an appointment at the genius bar tomorrow, is it even worth going?

GPS signal problems

My GPS signal keeps dropping out whilst using Strava to track my cycling routes. All settings within Location Services are set correctly. The Maps app seems to work fine but GPS drops out as soon as I'm moving. Is this a problem with the device ?

Ipod Touch Reset Problems

Hi.

Ipod Touch (3rd Gen I think) has been untouched for a couple of months since I got an iPhone .

Now trying to poer up and it won't. Can't do a reset either.

Press button to turn on and it shows the low battery symbol. Charged t it for 30 mins and plug it into PC and the iPod display shows the charing symbol then changes to the Apple symbol. This stays on for 20 - 30 secs and goes out. iPod does not show on iTunes. If I unplug the iPod and try to reset (home & power button) it just shows the low battery symbol again.

iPod worked perfectly before I stopped using it.

Any ideas ??

Thanks

Johnn

This message is addressed to Apple Support and it's users.

Yesterday I restored(as new) my iPod to the new iOS firmware. Unfortunately,  there are a number of problems: high level of performance degradation - a main problem; AppStore and Maps loading very slow;  crashing of games, Safari and other problems. You can complete this list too. Write your problems in this topic and i hope, that Apple will answer us by releasing iOS 6.0.1 with fixed bugs.

Thanks for support!
