I have an iPod touch 5. I have the latest apple earbuds. I broke the jack inside my port. Like literally in half. So part of it with the little wire is inside lodge. How would you recommend me getting it out.

i am in the recovery mode but dont want to restore iPod, having a lot of films inside still want them.

Unless this program will get the iPod out of recovery mode. you are out of luck:
