my new ipod touch 5 will not turn on!!! im mad about this can someone helpp me or tell me what to do i tried alot of stuff my ipod just has the spinning circle it will turn on but 5 seconds later it stops and starts spinning again.

My iPod won't turn off or let me use the home button. I am just stuck on the settings app. Helpp!!!
