My iPod 5's screen displays strange letters (like the one's you'd find in a malfunctioning computer) and it has a bright rectangle in the center. I haven't dripped or damaged it.

Why cant I put a profile picture and a status on game center?
I updated to ios 5 which is not a beta but my game center hasn't changed. Why is this happening? Is it my apple id ?

Game Center nick name, how to access it?
Hi, my son has used a nick name for his games for some time. I don't know which email it may be connected to. He doesn't know a password for it. His brother has been using his ipod and now it won't bring up the other sons nick name. How do I find out what email and/or password this would need to sign in?

What is wrong with Game Center?
I just downloaded a game and tried to play it.
Game Center pops up and tells me that I need to log in. But I dont want to....
So I press the cancle button.... nothing.... press it again.... nothing.... press it 20 more times.... nothing....
So i decide to give in and sign in.... put in my info and it just gets stuck signing in.... it was sitting with the signing in message for about 10 min....
Then I backed out and opened the app.... and its stuck at the loading screen.... (and is still there after 20min)
I was fine with just throwing it in a folder to never be looked at, but now it is ACTIVLY PREVENTING me from playing my games....
What is going on?
itouch 4th gen iOS 6.0.1....

Game Center problem
Hey
I have a problem with my Game Center in my I touch device.
The thing is I had started playing games with an Id in Game Center but later I had to change my Id
So now I have two ids. So achievements which I completed earlier are showed up in my 1st Id while those I completed now are on 2nd id
What I want is my all achievements in my 2nd id.
Game Center (2nd I'd ) shows many games as never played. While I had played them.
Note when I try to complete the missions in temple run (done earlier) then too it does not show up in gc
Pls help me. It seems like puzzle sorry for that. Hope u understood my question

I HAVE FOUND AND TESTED A FIX!
Finally after many hours of google searching I found the answer to the dismay.
If had a Game Center Account, before updating to iOS 5, you will not be able to post statuses or have a profile picture. But alas, there is a fix: you must reset your Game Center account. Sounds Easy Enought Right? Wrong. Apple couldn't have made this more confusing. But you can use Gameolosophy's guide at http://gameolosophy.com/games/how-to-reset-game-center/
Now, this should work!

Game Center won`t load
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
Game Center won`t load
I am on a vacation in Japan and I`m having trouble loging my Game Center. I have wireless wifi, but I still can`t get in. When I open Clash of Clans after a minute Game Center pops up wanting me to log in. When I have all the right info in and click `Sign in` it takes forever to log in. So instead I click cancel and nothing happens it just stays in the same screen. Everytime I open Clash of Clans, Game Center opens and none of my updates on my village save, because I can`t log in or click cancel. So I then tried to just go to the Game Center app itself and when I click on it just stays on the loading screen the whole time. So I can`t do anything! I have an iPod touch 4th generation with iOS 6. Please help as soon as possible!
