Airplay works fine before the upgrade, but we need to upgrade due to some apps requested. Now the Airplay button gone missing, am i able to enable it again?

I was look for 3rd party apps/software to do the similar, but we are using Win XP, which the Airserver not support, and try the other called RemoteHD but it required Airplay.
Any suggestion are most welcome.

I have an ipod touch second generation and wanted to know if its possible to upgrade to the 5.0 firmware? I still have 4.1.2 and tried to upgrade via itunes but got an error.
Pre iOS 6 (all devices sharing the same AppleID=ipod@apple.com for App Store):

Post iOS6 (all devices sharing the same AppleID=ipod@apple.com for App Store):
The upgrade to iOS6 messed up the original setup as iPod Touch was getting iMessages meant for iPhone. Each individual email was checked ('You can be reached by iMessage at') so each device was logically getting every iMessage!
But selecting the correct individual email ('You can be reached at') for each device did NOT solve it. I was unable to send/receive iMessages from my iPod Touch or use Facetime. It all got flaky as messages were send but never delivered, Facetime could not connect to my other devices anymore. This was especially the case for my iPod Touch.
I could see a device was ready for iMessage/Facetime (so activation had been succesful) but the sending never completed and always hung after 90%. Facetime always showed 'connection lost' after ringing for a while.
Solution?
Now I have created an AppleID for each device, so each device is signing into iMessage/Facetime with their own AppleID.
All devices still share the same AppleID for the App Store AppleID=ipod@apple.com which is also used by the iPod Touch for iMessage/Facetime.
Still no luck...
I rebooted, cleared Network settings, checked if each AppleID was okay#
Why is this not working?
Should I create another different AppleID for iMessage/Facetime for my iPod Touch so it's different from my App Store AppleID?
Is it because iPad 1 can not be upgraded to iOS6?

I upgraded to IOS6 on iPod touch 4 and iPad 3.
when i open the app store app the language is in french on the iPod and is still in english on the iPad.
In case it is not obvious:
1) the language in settings is english.
2) the language in app store prior to upgrade was in english
i am currently located in france.
the address on my apple id is in the UK (i had to use a uk address in order to get the app store in itunes to be in english in the first place)
(yes that is correct if your apple id has a french address it is not possible to use the app store in any language other than french, i guess the app store does not like making money then)

I have an 8GB iPod Touch 4th Generation, but it's always running out of room and I haven't updated to iOS 6 because of that. Should I make the upgrade and buy an iPod Touch 5th generation? I know the camera's better, but should I?

I just upgraded a family member's iPod Touch to 3.1.3 because I wanted her to be able to use basic apps. However, as soon as the $5 upgrade was completed, I am not finding any apps under iOS 4 that will run. My question is:
1. How do I sort apps on the App Store to find any possible working apps?
2. If there are no apps that run 3.1.3, why in the world does Apple still sell the (obviously useless) upgrade?
