icloud backup- ipod touch has not been backed up in 6 weeks. backups happen when this ipod touch is plugged in locked and connected to wifi, I tried to reset but my home button on my ipod is damaged, please help me out on this!!!

My ipod 4th generation has been uncharged for almost 2 months...I plugged it in the charger and now a black screen appears with a yellow horizontal line at the top and 4 yellowish greenish spots at the corners of the screen.Battery trouble?

I plugged in my ipod to my computer and I had the option to sync the new software and I did. Just as it was done itunes couldn't recognize my ipod and my only choice would be to restore back to store settings but I would loose ALL my data :(

Is there an app I can use as a mic to enable my ipod when I am running my Monster Clarity HD one and wireless mic? The mic works by itself when plugged into system and works with MP 3 but does not work simultaneously with ipod.

So I update the software on my 4th generation iPod and it took about ten minutes. Now the iPod won't unlock or lock properly . And it won't turn on unless plugged in. What should I do?

My itunes said I needed an update, I unplugged the ipod touch and reset everything. When "connect to itunes" showed on the screen, I plugged it back in and Itunes no longer recognizes it. I tried 4 usb cables, 4 different computers, all new itunes

ipod wont turn on unless plugged in

My iPod Touch (4th gen) won't turn on without having to reboot it unless its plugged in. If the ipod is plugged in or charging then using the home button it turns on fine. But if it isn't plugged in at all I have to reboot it to turn it on. Anyone have this happen to them and if so, what did you have to do to fix it? Thank you.
