I've looked at other discussions, and they all say to reset to a new ipod or restore to a backup (that didn't have the restrictions password). I don't want to do those two things. Is there another way?

Forgotten RESTRICTIONS Passcode
- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.
