Everything works on it besides sound. All it says is it's on headphone mode every time I try and use sound without headphones. If there's no solution, is there anyway i can get it fixed? How much would it cost?

I dropped my iPod (Help?)
Well, I was walking down the steps when my iPod flew out of my hoodie pocket with the case on it (griffin survivor) and it got dented beneath the volume buttons. The screen now has a black blob thing (I dont know how to describe it) on the left side, and the screen is mostly white, but the touch sensors work fine, and there are no scratches whatsoever. I checked my warranty and it said 'Repairs and Service Coverage: Active', but the technical support was expired (I had it for 4 months now).
What do I do? Should I bring it into apple? Would they exchange it for a new one?
I dropped my iPod. Can I get it replaced for free?
I have an ipod touch, 4th gen, and I dropped it. I broke the wifi chip, and asked my dad to fix it for me for christmas. As he pulled the screen off, a part broke in half. I currently have no screen on, and before he fixed it, i asked a guy at the apple store how much it would be to replace and he said 75$. Anyway, long story short, Im pretty much asking if I can get it replaced for free without a screen, and if not how much do I have to pay to get it replaced.
