I locked myself out of my iPod, and since this has happened before I just decided to restore it as I usually do. However, iTunes is telling me that I can't restore my iPod until I turn off Find My iPod in the iPod's settings. I can't exactly do that, considering I'm locked out of it. Is there any way to turn it off, or just restore it anyway?
iOS 7 beta 6 on an iPod 5th gen, if that helps at all.
If the message said could not contact the update server then:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

I have an iPod Touch(2nd) and all the apps I have left on it still works cause I've never updated them. I know you might say I should to protect... blah, blah, blah. I only use it as an MP3 player, but I sometimes use the apps that are still working.
Is there anyway for me to backup the apps with their old firmware? Forget iCloud if you were thinking that. It's a 4.2.1 firmware iOS. I don't want to end up with findout that the apps are the new version requiring my iPod to have the latest firmware to work.

I wanted to restore my ipod touch 4th generzation ios 6.1.2 today and when i tried to restore it said error 3194. so i googled it and ive done everything that ive found,ive gon into dfu mode recoverymode ive edited my host file and ive updated itunes. i have evn tried restoring from my ipod in settings but it shows the apple logo with the loading bar for 2 seconds then goes to a never ending loading circle. I really want to restore my ipod.

I have been unable to restore my ipod - I have tried to force the retore by using the sleep button, and the home button, but I then get an error message from itunes, think its error code 500.... Can anyone help please?
Error 21 any way to over ride this?

So. my home button was broken and i wanted (stupid idea) to jailbreak my ipod, i used the new redsn0w Dfu ipsw, then tried to put it in dtf mode via itunes. how ever now its just stuck on a black screen, i tried t restor it with itunes but that just comes up with an error. help?

My iPod touch 4th generation says on the screen to connect to iTunes. When i connected it to iTunes, it says i must restore my ipod for it to work. However, I have over 6,000 pictures that I've taken over the past two years that i do not want to lose. What do I do? I already tried resetting it by holding down the home/power button, that doesn't help.

We've got an iPod Touch that's in 'restore' mode. I've made several attempts to restore it, and it freezes during the restore. It's been restored before, but now it freezes every time. Has anyone had this problem and solved it?
