My sons 610 won't recognize or charge his new gen 4 touch when you plug it in to laptop, He previously owned a touch 2nd gen and it worked fine with computer, trying to find out if this ipod isn't compatible. Have already checked service pack is correct, it has a 2.0 usb port, and itunes has been updated.Also the Ipod read and works fine in my computer which is a inspiron 1525 so the ipod works fine.
